Faux Wood Finishing Supplies
By Glen R. Perye Jr.

Any of the big box stores sell the graining combs, feathers, sponges,
glazes, paint, etc. The be-all-end-all book is "Professional Painted
Finishes", by Ina Brosseau Marx, Allen Marx and Robert Marx, 1991,
ISBN 0-8230-4418-1

They also have videos. I believe the name of their company is
The Finishing School, Inc., 120 Woodbine Ave., Northport, NY 11768
tel.: 1-516-262-0058 (as of 1991).

They cover more than most people will want to know <lol>. They use
Benjamin Moore paints, glazes, etc. The colors match better from batch
to batch as the color numbers for B&M paint are used in their book.

There are numerous other lessor tomes on the subject out there. I have
seen some at in the paint and book departments at Home Depot and Lowes.
They also have classes on a regular rotating basis. They did sell a
basic kit for some grains and styles. Hope this helps.
