FS: 88-note Telectra Player Mechanism
By Bob Billings

For sale: Telectra 88-note player, not installed in a piano. It was
designed to be installed in a straight piano. Includes two consoles
(roll readers) and a stack, all complete but unrestored.

This is the Tel-Electric Company's answer to Welte. It dates from
about 1912, when the company began recording actual performances by
name artists. The expression system is quite sophisticated, with a
split stack and many levels of intensity and accents. It uses brass
rolls, which are available separately. Included is our Tel-Electric
book, which contains extensive technical information, diagrams, etc.,
as well as a catalog of all the known rolls.

Price: $1,000, which is less than I paid for it.
