CD "The Aeolian Pipe-Organ plays Duo-Art Music"
By David Sharpe

I would like to echo the comments by John Dousmanis about Paul Morris's
CD, "The Aeolian Pipe Organ Plays Duo-Art Organ Music." The organ must
be very well restored since music really sounds good.

As I expected, the hand-played rolls sound great, but I was especially
impressed with the rolls listed as played by the Aeolian Organ Guild,
which I think means they were done on the drafting table. They sound
amazingly life-like and the interesting registration makes them just
as enjoyable as the hand-played rolls. There must have been some good
musicians laying out and editing these rolls.

Thanks, Paul, for this valuable addition to the recorded repertoire of
mechanical musical instruments.
