Testing Player Actions at the Factory
By Bryan Cather

Does anyone know how the various player manufacturers bench-tested
their player actions after assembling the components? No matter how
accurately the various parts were put together, unless they are
"winded" for some time, they won't work.

I am almost certain that the various player action factories must have
had some means of "debugging" the player actions before sending them
out; surely they didn't just put the parts together, crate them up and
ship them. Does anyone have any information on this?
