Thorens Automatic Musical Box Information
By Matthew Caulfield

I must apologize to Dustin Dang for my posting on his Thorens
information search, which implied that he was being lazy. Dustin
emailed me off-list to tell me the sources he had checked (MMD
Archives, and a large number of music box books). To his credit, he
thanked me for my message rather than chastising me for my criticism.

There isn't, as most people know, a lot of information out there about
Thorens, although it was in business a very long time, but never a big
player in the high-end market. I hope other MMD subscribers pitched
in to help Dustin with whatever bits they know about Thorens, about
its Reuge connection, and with advice on buying a Thorens.
