I received word today from his daughter, Jeanne, of the death on March
3, 2007, of John Oliver Davis.  John was the son of Ross R. Davis, of
California merry-go-round and band organ fame, who died in 1970.

Jeanne has been planning to write a history of the Davis family, and
I urge her to do so.  She and other family members are now going through
her dad's papers.  There is already a nice web site on the Davis Lincoln
