There is a three-minute video on YouTube titled "H.Weiss-Stauffacher
and some of his instruments".  You can find it most quickly by
searching "Stauffacher" on YouTube; it is the second of the two hits
you get by that search.  The machine I am trying to identify appears
for four seconds in the right-hand side of the picture from 1:36 to
1:39 into the video.

The machine is clearly some kind of device for marking or punching
a music roll.  I have seen a device just like that in a view of someone
else's roll-making studio.  I'd like to know what it is and what it
does.
