Rebuilding Ragtime Automated Music Nickelodeon
By Tom Hutchinson

MMD, Recently, against the advice of a lot of friends obviously
smarter than me, I bought a Ragtime Automated Music nickelodeon.
Upon receipt I found that this very pretty machine was an internal
mess. It was clearly incapable of playing and won't until a lot
of restoration is done.

I have been through the MMD Archives and there are no recent entries
directly addressing my question. I have been advised locally by
a gentleman who has had extensive experience with these instruments
that it will probably need a complete rebuild of all the pneumatics.
Is it better to bite the bullet and buy all new pneumatics from
Ragtime Automated Music Co. or is there a less expensive solution
to this problem?

Thanks again,
Tom Hutchinson
