Hello friends, I've just finished restoring a Western Electric X with
xylophone.  The piano plays great -- it plays plenty strong on both
soft and loud settings.  The xylophone, however, seems a bit sluggish
to me and does not play loudly at all.  Is there a recommended striking
distance for the beaters or could there be some other problem I'm
overlooking?  Thanks for any suggestions.
