Roll Inventory Computer Program
By Ray Bauer

Several members have written about their roll inventory preferences.
I have used FileMaker Pro for over fifteen years. It is a relational
database program. I set up tables for cross reference. Example:
type in the word Sonata and every sonata in the database -- Ampico,
Duo-Art, NOS, or 88-note -- shows up. Any word will do the same.

This method is handy if a guest wants to hear all Gershwin. I type
in his name and the software gives the complete roll data plus bin
location. The software is available for both Windows and Macintosh.
I don't believe FileMaker will become extinct any time soon.

Regards from Lake Tahoe,
Ray Bauer
