I first met Jerry Doring back in 1997.  In the half dozen times I saw
Jerry, I was always impressed with his hospitality, and generosity
when it came to making me feel at home.  I would make a special trip
from Vancouver, B.C., just to marvel at his fantastic mechanical music
machines.

Whenever I visited the Doring home, Jerry would spend an entire day
with me playing and enjoying his wonderful collection.  I certainly
feel that I have lost a special friend and I will miss him dearly.
My deepest condolences go to the Doring family.
