Source of Musical Box Movements
By Ben Haass

I just got through building a music box for my wife for Christmas.
I used a 30-note movement made in China by a company called Yunsheng.
Their 'deluxe' line of movements are called "Rhymes". I have seen some
negative reviews on these movements but I must say I was very happy
with the quality of the movement. For the price of $89, you couldn't
have come close with a Swiss movement.

I bought it from a web site called http://www.qualitymusicboxes.com/
I was very happy with their service. They have an excellent listening
station where you can hear most all the movements play before you buy.
They state somewhere on their web site that Yunsheng will make custom
movements in quantities as small as two units for the price of $650-$800.
I can't find where I read that, though.
