[ Ref. 970703 MMDigest, Avant-garde Music Rolls

> Data from the "Donaueschinger Kammermusiktage 1926" of July 25, 1926:

> Gerhard Muench (1907-?) (roll no. 4109)
> Polyphone Etuden fuer mechanisches Klavier
> I: Introduzione Maestoso, II: Prestissimo, III: Largo,
> IV: Jazz, V: Andantino, VI: Fugato.

In the book "Alan's War" (Emmanuel Guibert's wonderful illumination of
the memories of Alan Cope), it is firmly implied that Gerhard Muench
died in 1988, in Mexico.

Cope was a longtime friend and correspondent of Muench, and his wife,
the poet Vera Muench, who died in 1987. Great web site.

Thanks, Tom Price
