Piano Roll Database Program & Windows 7
By Spencer Chase

Windows 7 does have compatibility modes but there are some programs
that will not work even in compatibility mode so it is good to ask
others who may have the same program before switching to Win 7 and
expecting a program to work. I have switched most of my computers
over to Win 7 but had to keep a couple with XP for programs that will
just not work.

I did not buy one of the top two Windows 7 levels, both of which offer
even more compatibility, probably some sort of emulation and or reduced
security settings while running these programs, but this is just a
guess as I am not going to spend another $100 just to find out.

As Jim stated, it is very unlikely that a database program would have
any compatibility problems. I have a copy of the piano roll database
program somewhere that I bought but never used. I think I remember that
is was just a customization of an Access database but I might be wrong
about this.
