Audio Recordings of Mechanical Music
By Julian Dyer

If you want pianola music, Shellwood Productions (Mike Lorenzini)
offers some CDs you might be interested in, including a fairly recent
one I recorded, Shellwood SWCD38, entitled "Just A Little Thing Called
Rhythm" -- which rather tells you the type of music!

There are a few other in similar vein, plus one of Jelly Roll Morton,
as well as a nice mix of other recordings hand-played by folks such as
Alex Hassan. Visit http://www.shellwood.co.uk/

These CDs are recorded using an 88-note Pianola pushup on a modern
grand piano, and the sound is rather good. If you want a preview there
are a few clips on YouTube, http://www.youtube.com/user/inizerol
