It's with great regret that I have just learned from Betty Cooley that
Rick sadly passed away on Sunday evening after suffering a massive
stroke on Saturday.  I enjoyed a good transatlantic friendship with
Rick and we worked together on many exciting projects over the years.

Rick was always very much the gentleman and he was one of those
'special people' who will be missed not only by his family and friends
but by many of us in the world of mechanical music.  Our thoughts are
with Betty and his family at this difficult time.
