Roll-Operated Player Pipe Organ Census
By George Wilder

There are three roll-operated pipe organs in the Dallas and San Antonio
area, all owned by Ken Long.

One is an Aeolian Duo-Art reproducing residential pipe organ, two
manuals, thirteen ranks, with chimes, harp, and piano attachment, opus
1645 (1927).

The second is an Aeolian Duo-Art reproducing residence pipe organ,
three manuals, forty-eight ranks, with chimes and harp, opus 1560
(1925/1931), in a house in San Antonio.

The third is an Aeolian Duo-Art Concertola, with a 12-roll carousel, in
a figured walnut cabinet, with two style A-S remote tablet operating
controls.

These were all listed in the upcoming AMICA Texas Chapter meeting
mailing. It didn't say whether the one in San Antonio is operational
or not, but the other two are in storage/restoration.
