MIDI Scales Adopted by Band Organ Makers
By Wallace Venable

Back in the middle ages Robbie Rhodes compiled and posted
the Wurlitzer 125 Specification at
  http://www.mmdigest.com/Tech/Wur125/w125spec.html
and the Wurlitzer 165 Specification at
  http://www.mmdigest.com/Tech/W165spec.html

In each of these he proposed a MIDI note assignment for each tracker
bar hole.

Does anyone know if either the Stinson Organ Company or the Johnson
Organ Company uses Robbie's MIDI assignments? If not, can anyone post
the actual MIDI scales adopted by Stinson Band Organ Company or Johnson
Organ Company or Doyle International?

Wallace Venable

[ My proposed MIDI note assignments are only for the playing notes,
[ so that a MIDI keyboard can be used for tuning the organ. -- Robbie
