Mechanical Music Listings at eBay
By Dave Haibach

In response to Carl Zwanzig's comments about the term "vintage",
I might add in the defense of sellers that it is often used
because the exact age is not known and they can not prove the
'100-year-old test.'

This is not generally done to try to fool anyone, or indicate
ignorance, but to indicate it is "old" -- sometimes only a few
years old, sometimes older than the hills <lol>.

The term "antique" is the one most often misapplied in my opinion.

Regards,
Dave Haibach
