Zenph Recreates Sound of Great Musicians
By Tommy Forney

Here's a link from the TED site with a video demonstration of the
technology. It recreates a performance of Art Tatum through a Yamaha
Disklavier. It seems to be the ultra modern version of a reproducing
piano in many ways, except that it starts with the recording and works
backward.
