Restore North America's Carousel Organs
By Tony Pignaloni

I think preservation groups should buy the organs, then restore them
and lease them back to the parks. The lease can cover semi-annual
maintenance costs and well as some individual to be on staff if needed,
to tend to the organ on a daily basis. The stipulation being that the
restoration group maintains the organs, or trains a park staff member
for day-to-day operations and the restoration group performs tuning and
annual maintenance.

This may get some attention at the parks, rather than volunteers working
on the organs.
