"Are You Love" Ampico Roll 213811
By Greg Coen

Hello, The recent postings about the Ampico roll, "Are You Love,"
by Sigmund Romberg, made me curious to find out a little more about
it also; I've loved this roll for over 20 years. According to the
IBDB (Internet Broadway Database) the show ran for a total of only
23 performances, from the end of October 1931 to mid-November 1931.

This is one of the great aspects of collecting piano rolls, records
and other media of the time. A show may have been forgotten in a
minute but many of the wonderful songs were recorded for us to enjoy
decades later. I can't wait to listen to it tonight on the Ampico!
Thanks for the postings.
