Separating Cremona Piano Case

Here's one way to coax the side off an upright piano.  I usually use
a combination of dull putty knives along with wedges to split the old
glue joint.  I've removed the sides from at least two dozen uprights
with great success.

This Seeburg G side would not budge so the technician who replaced the
board came up with this solution [a small hydraulic jack on its side
to apply pressure].  The piano was completed last year.  All went well.
