Value of a Wurlitzer Solo Violin Piano?
By Bill Trefts

What value could be assigned to a Wurlitzer Solo Violin Piano? There
were 125 of them built in the late 1920s. The last I heard there are
only five left in existence.

This one is a nickelodeon that has (I believe) a reproducing player
system, with a rank of violin pipes in the back of the cabinet behind
swell shades. The rolls play from a ferris-wheel changer.

As to its condition, let's just call it a "barn find." Pot metal parts
have become artsy, free-flowing objects. The electric motor and
flexible shaft are missing.

Also, what value would original rolls for these machines have?
