Organ Enthusiasts' Day, Cotton, Suffolk, 2 Oct.
By Kevin McElhone

The Annual Enthusiasts Day at Cotton Mechanical Music Museum,
Blacksmiths Road, Cotton, near Stowmarket, Suffolk, England, IP14 4QN,
will take place from 10 a.m. on Sunday, October 2, 2010 (always the
first Sunday in October). It is the last day of their season before
they close for the winter.

All larger instruments in the museum -- the fair organs and the
cinema organ -- will be played all day. There will also be many
visiting organs, from small hand-cranked to larger trailer-mounted
instruments, playing both inside and outside on the grounds.
There were over thirty last year. This is a wonderful day out
with steam road engines as well.

I will be having a sales stall at the event and hope to meet many
friends there, old and new. If you need anything in particular,
please email me before 3 p.m. on Saturday, 1st October, so I can be
sure to pack it for you. The museum is situated just off the B1113
six miles north of Stowmarket, Suffolk. See
