Starrett Organette Is Probably an Ariston
By Nicholas Simons

Bob Deuel's L. S. Starrett organette sounds very much like an Ariston.
The case size is about right, the number of notes is right and his
discs are only 0.25" too small, but this could be a measuring error or
a manufacturing variance. Maybe if he could provide some photos we
could confirm this for him.

If it is an Ariston then he will have no trouble finding someone to
either give assistance or even take on a restoration. New discs are
also readily available, and second-hand discs can be easily found
amongst the organette fraternity.
