Dear All,  Paul Bell asks about an anonymous Meloto roll bearing
a six-digit number at the end [111217 MMDigest].  The first two digits
refer to the year of manufacture (in this case 1933), and the last
four are the batch number.  So, unfortunately, it's not possible to
identify the roll from this in the absence of the factory production
records which no longer exist.
