Seek 88-note Piano Roll Perforator
By Nick Vasallo

Hello friends, So I finally got a pianola, it's a lovely 1960's Janssen
kept in immaculate condition: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=USVJflSiRMU
Attachment thumbnail I purchased this so I can write music on it, but I have no way of punching holes. I've already bought Bob Essex's MIDster plans (on their way) but am having a hard time finding someone to build me the machine. I've begun considering using a manual puncher (as Conlon Nancarrow did for years in his cold, dark and cobweb-infested studio). So I basically want to use this huge network of mechanical music heads to see if there is someone, anyone that I can commission to build a machine for me? Or if someone has an 88-note perforator by either Star or Leabarjan they want to let go? I am serious about writing for this instrument -- here are some of my Disklavier pieces: http://amzn.com/B0051U85R4 Hope to hear from someone; please send me a message: nickvasallo@gmail.com.geentroep [delete ".geentroep" to reply] Thanks!
