Denis Condon Has Died
By Bob Taylor

The reproducing piano world has lost its greatest aficionado, Denis
Condon. Known to all Australian collectors and many in other countries,
Denis' passion for the reproducing piano was legend. A very well-written
notice of his passing, including a YouTube video done a number of years
ago [ca. 1989] that is most worthy of watching, can be found at

Attachment thumbnail When Denis visited me in the 1980's, I immediately realized that his knowledge of rolls and artists was probably as good as it gets. He was mentor to me and many others throughout the world. Denis had been in poor health for several years before his passing, and that kept him away from recent activities. He will be greatly missed.
