Broderip & Wilkinson Residential Barrel Organ Pictures
By Craig Smith

Jim,

Here is a picture of a residential organ that I restored a few years
ago. It has a triangle and a drum, but I can't tell you who made it.
Like yours that you described in yesterday's MMD, it had makeshift
mechanisms for the percussion. But fortunately I was able to borrow an
exact match and manufacture a copy, which works very well.

I do have many more pictures that I can send you, if it looks like it
would match your machine. Just let me know.

[ The picture attached to the e-mail is very interesting. Robbie
[ will add it to the "MMD Gallery" when he gets back from vacation.
[ Meanwhile, I encourage Craig to send the rest of the photos,
[ peferably no more than 5 per e-mail (they are large) to the
  [ editor's account: editor-1201@mmdigest.com.geentroep [delete .geentroep]
  [
[ I'd like to remind evereyone submitting articles that the
[ software "machinery" that gathers the text from the "rolls" account
[ into the Digest doesn't know how to handle attachments at all.
[ Mail with attachments MUST be sent to the editor's account in insure
[ they don't get garbled or completely lost. We know this
[ is a pain, but there's a lot of programming involved to fix it. --Jody
