There has been discussion recently on this board regarding library
books on mechanical music being removed from library shelves.  The
reason is that, although possibly 'looked at' they are seldom
'borrowed'.

Librarians tend to keep books that are taken out at regular intervals.
So, if you are in a library and see a useful book, borrow it!

Even if you have it at home, just take it out and return it on your
next visit.  Not too much of a chore and it may help keep the book
available for others in the future.
