Electric Vacuum Motors
By Tony Marsico

Graingers has vacuum motors of all different amps in 220 and 110
voltages, with different inches of vacuum and cfm. They can be placed
in boxes of your own making to create a suction unit. You can then add
baffling to quiet the motors.

People have talked about using the 220 volt units on a 110 volt circuit
for longer life and less heat generation. But someone else would have
to comment on that.

Put Graingers into your search engine. Maybe even McMaster Carr.

[ http://www.grainger.com has a large selection of vacuum motors.
[ http://www.mcmaster.com has only vacuum motor brushes. A search
[ of Amazon reveals several vacuum motors too. --Jody
