A question has come up, as I am going through boxes of rolls acquired
from various sources recently.  The good news is that most of the rolls
seem to be playable; the bad news is that my Weber does NOT like QRS
rolls with metal flanges.  What the deuce is going on, I've asked
myself; but I have no answer.  My player can handle just about anything
(except the most specific types, like Ampico); but it just won't track
properly with QRS, if it has metal flanges.  I've searched the MMD
Archives, but didn't find anything related.  Any help here would be
appreciated.

There are many boxes to go through, and I've got more questions but
will save those for later.
