Passing of Tony Dellaway
By Mike Boyd

Dear fellow Pianola enthusiasts, I am very sorry to have to report
that Tony Dellaway has passed away in the hospital near his home in
Saint-Thibéry, France. He was 71.

Tony had been a member of the Player Piano Group of Great Britain since
the late 1960s. Although he had dallied with the Duo-Art, his real
interest lay in the Pianola which he played with great skill and
enthusiasm. I had the pleasure of being one of Tony's large circle of
friends for about thirty years. This circle generally fell into two
categories, sailing or Pianola, and was united by a love of food, wine
and France.

He is survived by his second wife Olga, and by his son and daughter by
his first marriage. A full obituary and appreciation will appear in the
PPG Bulletin and on our web site, http://www.playerpianogroup.org.uk/
