Glenn Thomas wrote an excellent piece on Wurlitzer band organs for the
COAA (Carousel Organ Association of America) magazine for July 2013.  In
it he says that the more-or-less definitive MIDI scales for the 165 and
150 are the "AMI" scales.  I've seen and downloaded the Wurlitzer scales
here on MMD, but I am not familiar with the AMI reference.

I am also familiar with the scales used for the Wurlitzer band organ
roll scans in the player piano lists, which differ a bit, I think, from
Robbie's scales.

Is AMI just another name for one of these the scales, or are or is it
something significantly different?

 [ AMI stands for the Automatic Musical Instrument player system
 [ developed in the 1990s by Mike Ames.  It's not just a scale.  The
 [ system uses two 64-channel MIDI output circuit cards.  The MIDI file
 [ stores data for the Bass, Accomp and Melody divisions as Channel 1
 [ data; the remaining data such as Countermelody, percussion and
 [ register (lock & cancel) data are stored as Channel 2 data.  See
