Hi all,  I would imagine that piano roll lending libraries were popular
in their day.  In the city of Buffalo, New York, there was a roll
lending library at the J.N. Adams Company, a large department store in
downtown Buffalo.  I don't believe that I have the roll anymore, but it
would have been an 88-note roll.
