Thanks for all the replies.  What I need is 1-1/8" elbows which are
in the Schaff catalog.  What I _really_ need to do is read the darned
ruler correctly: 1/8" is not 1/16".  Metric would have been so much
easier.  Maybe it's the switching back and forth that's disrupting the
synapses.  Thanks, I'm back on track now.
