Regulating Player Action Stack to Piano Action
By Don Teach

The first thing to do in any player piano is to make sure your piano
action is properly regulated. All the whippens should be in a nice
straight line, as well as the backchecks. With the piano action
properly regulated and in a straight line, then regulating your player
to the piano should be easier. There should be just the slightest
lost motion in the piano action so the jack can go under the hammer
butt easily.
