Dimensions of Force Fit Collars
By Don Teach

I read occasionally that people are looking for force fit collars.
Does anyone know the exact dimensions of this item? I am guessing
0.190" outside diameter (O.D.), about 0.0625" thick, with an I.D. of
0.093". Is that correct? Who makes them, or made them, for Player
Piano Company?

I made a couple of them this morning with a punch press just to see
if I could make them. They could also be made on a lathe by turning
a piece of brass to 0.190" or so and center drilling the hole, then
use a cut-off tool to finish.

I was just thinking of ways to make them. The punch press would be
fastest. Does anyone have any other thoughts?
