Aeriol 65-note Roll of "Carnaval Espagnol"
By Julian Dyer

These are intriguing early 65-note rolls. I have a few and they're
just standard Aeolian rolls with a different name on the label --
the Aeolian labels say "Piano" rather than "Aeriol Piano", the serial
numbers are the same).

They're too early to have Metrostyle or Themodist on them, being made
around 1900. The history is that the Aeriol player was purchased by
Aeolian and the name re-used to provide another selling brand, Aeriol
becoming Aeriola.
