Take-up Spool for Ampico A Grand Piano

Carol Brewer wrote in 150726 MMDigest that she seeks an Ampico
take-up spool.  She wrote me later that it's for a Knabe grand
Ampico A.

Carol, if you can't locate a salvaged Ampico take-up spool then
I suggest you contact John Tuttle and ask if his supplier could
make a new one for you.  See http://www.player-care.com/  and

take-up spool (about mid-page).

Actually, for not much more than the price of a new spool you
probably could buy a complete Ampico piano for salvaging parts!
