One of my guilty television pleasures here in the UK is the Canadian
detective series, 'The Murdoch Mysteries', set in Toronto from 1895
onwards.  Last night I watched the final episode of series 3, 'The
Tesla Effect'.

There is a scene filmed on location in a large and magnificent house
which has been used as a location for several episodes of this season.
As the camera pans across the staircase hall it reveals, built into the
marbled wall, the unmistakable console of a 2-manual Aeolian player
pipe organ, with distinctive Aeolian toggle switches and the spoolbox
clearly open to view.

After a few minutes' research on the Internet (ain't the Net wonderful!)
I discovered that this house is the Parkwood estate in Oshawa, home to
Aeolian Pipe Organ Opus 1381, 19 ranks, harp and chimes, ordered in

This particular organ is not listed as extant in Rollin Smith's
list, hence this posting.  Of course, I don't know if it works...
