Angelo Rulli asks in the 15.11.18 MMD for more information about his
musical box with Schriber and NF on it.  Angelo, do you have a serial
number and can you estimate the approximate date of manufacture?

The NF is almost certainly for Nicole Frères.  There are just a few
examples of these letters stamped on the governor bracket.  It does not
mean that the whole movement was made by Nicole but that at least the
governor and possibly the ebouche was supplied by Nicole.

Schriber is very unlikely to be the maker, more likely an agent.
Photos of the tune sheet and movement would be helpful.  I hope others
will have better information.
