Unknown Music Box and Tune Information
By Reg Smith

Based on the appearance of the tune card and certain features of the
mechanism, I believe this music box was made by Junod, in Sainte-Croix,
about 1904.

The correct titles and spellings are:

1. Don Caesar. March, (by) Dellinger
2. William Tell. Prayer, (by) Rossini
3. Martha. Market Chorus,(by) Flotow
4. Amaryllis (aka) March of King Louis XIII
5. Patience. So go to him, (by) Sullivan
6. Madam Angot. March, (by) Lecocq

Typically, Swiss cylinder music box tune cards followed this format,
where the song or tune title was written first, followed by the type of
tune (waltz, schottische, march, etc.), this often italicized, and
lastly the composer of the music or opera. Many music box tunes were
taken from popular operas such as Don Caesar, William Tell, Martha, and
Madame Angot.
