Quite true now, Randy, and also true 50 years ago or more.  For
example, my dad owned a dance hall with a Wurlitzer juke box that
played 78 rpm records which was used when no band was present.
Dad, who was a young man in the 1920s, installed the tunes that he
recalled and related to.

_No one_ played that juke box!  As a teen I told Dad what was needed:
Elvis, Little Richard, Doris Day, etc.  He then (rather rudely) told
me to go buy those awful records.

The bottom line?  I did, and installed them, and the Wurlitzer juke
box then made money (at 5 cents a play in those years).
