3D Printing of Player Piano Parts
By Deidre Dixon

Just a thought after reading the 3-D printing postings. Could MMD
set up such a library where all members could upload 3-D files?
And perhaps monetize access -- which could assist MMD and/or mechanical
music outreach efforts in the future? This could fit hand-in-glove
with an effort to appeal to young engineering types whom I think
represent the best hope for perpetuating this hobby.

[ This is an interesting idea. We certainly have room on the server.
[ How to present the data and how to encourage or require people to
[ pay for the data needs to be discussed. I'd like more input
 [ on this. --Jody
