Rebuilding Wilcox & White Symphonia Organette
By Bob Arndt

I have finished rebuilding the Symphonia but I'm very sure that the
valves (those activated when tracker bar holes are open) were not
done well. I think that I "dished" them too much, so a valve can't
collapse quickly enough to be ready for a repeat of the same note.

Originally, one piece of 0.006" leather was used to cover all 20 ports,
and that's what I attempted. I'm reluctant to redo this until I have
some tips or opinions from someone familiar with the instrument.
Please respond if you can help.

Thanks!
