Seek History of North Tonawanda Band Organs
By Ellen E. Thomsen

I have just acquired a wonderful North Tonawanda 125 Military Band
Organ. It has a Wurlitzer 125 roll frame. It was restored many
years ago and is in very good mechanical shape, and nicely in tune.

The rolls that came with it, many of which are from Play-Rite, are
a little rough. (Luckily all the old tape on them is already falling
off cleanly.) I would like to find out how to restore them properly,
including reattaching them to the roll center tube.

Is there a good reference book on the history of North Tonawanda?
What about a Wurlitzer roll list? We have a great venue to play this
for the public (to fire up that next generation of mechanical music
devotees). When we are ready to do that, it's important to include
the history. Any information would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,
