Greetings all,  I am seeking any information members would be willing
to share about the various attempts to combine phonographs and player
pianos.  Several manufacturers -- Welte, Clark/Apollo, Seeburg -- are
noted as doing the development and model stage; I am wondering if any
of these combinations ever were sold or still exist?

I would appreciate any information you would be willing to share beyond
that found in the standard reference books.  Pictures and patent numbers
would be invaluable.  Also (Hope, hope!) pairings of rolls and Edison
or Victor phonograph record numbers.

I've not seen much on this sub-subject and my curiosity has been piqued.
