Ibach T100 Welte-Mignon Concert Grand Piano
By John McClelland

Greetings all, I recall having an Ibach T100 Welte-Mignon for about
a year sometime in the mid 1980s. (Sorry, I can't get much more
vague). I do remember that it was an ebony instrument, with fluted
dual legs, was 11 feet 1 inch long. This included the roll box and
striker pneumatics that were mounted above the keybed. The pump was
mounted up in the piano body.

The piano was sold and picked up by a mover. The final part of the
story involved the trailer in which the piano was transported along
with several other instruments; the trailer caught on fire as it was
heading back to the Midwest. Perhaps another MMDer might have further
details.

Hope this helps,

John McClelland
